In Spring 2009, Lu founded and launched WYSH [Wear Your Spirit for Humanity], LLC. www.wearyourspirit.com a socially conscious brand of inspirational t’s and products that promote authenticity, empathy and connection.

Over the past two decades, her area of interest and study has focused on the science of attachment, family systems, defenses and resistance, how we approach and fuel conflict in relationship and our own capacity for change. All of which fuel her ongoing social research, interviews, writings, and work with parents. She is best known for her leading-edge, integrative work in understanding and explaining the power, purpose and pathways for “repair,” and is most interested in how we repair relationship in the day-to-day, as she says “it is through our relational reparations that we are free to, capable of, and open to creating a healthy bond with our children and fostering emotional security and resilience in them.”

In the service of deepening this “reparation” work, she has been drawn to the study of neuroscience as it relates to disconnection, reconnection, engagement and resilience in education and parenting. She is currently in the Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) Integrative Program with Dr. Daniel Siegel (Mindsight Institute), and is excited about the profound and far-reaching applications of IPNB to parenting and education in the 21st century.

Lu is passionate about creating and pioneering multi-media programs, books, and other educational resources for parents and children that help to inspire, empower and support us to “keep the light on” so we cultivate and live with authentic connection for a more peaceful, empathic world. This is what Lu calls “creating our own parent-digm shift,” a shift in thinking, living and parenting that nurtures, preserves and reflects our authentic spirit, and promotes healthy, connected family from the inside-out.

She is the grateful mother of two boys, 8 and 11.
